Laurent GRASSO

Laurent Grasso was born in 1972 in Mulhouse, France. Grasso works between Paris, France, and New York, USA, engaging in a diverse practice that incorporates film, sculptures, painting and photography. Grasso has been widely exhibited internationally with group exhibitions at the Sean Kelly Gallery, New York; Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon; Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; Hayward Gallery, London; Centre Pompidou, Paris; as well as solo exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Galerie Perrotin, Paris; Hirshhorn Museum, Washington; Bass Museum of Art, Miami; Hermès Foundation, Tokyo, Japan; Eduoard Malingue Gallery, Hong Kong amongst other locations.

 

Grasso’s work is held in various international museum collections, including the Musée National d’art Moderne, Centre Pompidou, Paris; Galleria civica d’Arte Moderna e contemporanea, Turin; National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul; Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; as well as notable private collections, including Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris; Olbricht Foundation, Berlin; and Collection Berardo, Lisbon.
